Effective

Achieve significant functional improvement with A-PRP's natural regenerative therapy. Patients observe long-term results of pain reduction and inflammation regulation.

Safe

A treatment that focuses on natural and quality healing without any risk of rejection or allergic reaction. The process generates an autologous blood product, i.e. a solution composed of the patient's stem cells, administered to the patient.

Simple

This treatment is non-surgical and non-drug treatment. The injection of A-PRP takes only 30 minutes and is performed at our clinic by a physician specialized in diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Your platelets for your health

The principle of A-PRP is to combine advanced technology with the body's natural healing capacity.

When injured, your body's natural response is to attract platelets to the lesion that will secrete growth factors (which regulate growth and cell division) involved in the healing process.

By concentrating platelets, the secretion of growth factors is increased, thus promoting the healing of tissues such as tendons and cartilage. From a blood sample, the platelets are concentrated by centrifugation and reinjected into the pathological area, under ultrasound guidance to ensure accuracy. This is when platelets release growth factors, stimulating tissue repair.

The Procedure

1- MEDICAL ASSESSMENT

  • First of all, we validate that the treatment is appropriate for you.
  • Please contact us to make an appointment for a doctor to assess whether A-PRP is a treatment option for your medical condition.
  • An MRI and/or ultrasound examination may be indicated before injection to ensure diagnosis and rule out pathologies for which surgery would be more appropriate.

2- THERAPY

  • When we determined that A-PRP is appropriate for you:
  • Depending on the case, a series of 1 to 3 injections may be necessary.
  • The injection may cause discomfort as well as a slight local inflammation.
  • Most patients start a functional rehabilitation program one week after the injection.
